This morning I had to get up early to bike across town to volunteer at the Fringe. It was freezing this morning, and unfortunately, I had to work outside. I had to sit in a tent guarding sound equipment for two hours.I was wearing two sweaters and a tuque. Fortunately the shift passed rather quickly, since I started reading "The Mists of Avalon."

As many of you know, my ten year high school reunion was held in June. I didn't go because I was tree planting. However, I got to see the photos yesterday, along with profiles of the graduates who attended and those, like me, who simply sent in photos and bios.

Among the more interesting career choices of the graduates were-

1. Someone who works in Toronto as an actress. She is currently working as Kim Cattrall's body double and stands in for her during lighting and test shots.

2. Someone who is working at the International Tribunal in the Hague.

3. someone who lives up in the Arctic

4. A couple who became foreign diplomats in Colombia

I'm not sure what I think about a 28 year old being Kim Cattrall's body double. But Cattrall IS a kickass woman!

Oops, I guess I didn't explain it well enough. She's a stand in for lighting shots, etc.
