Ick. I'm now back in Slave Lake. We closed up our camp and are staying in town for two days. The rest of the crew is out planting, but I'm in the hotel convalescing. I'm not feeling well, so I took the day off. Still hoping to get to Calgary soon, but I'm not sure. Some of my friends think I may have heat stroke. I started planting fill yesterday, which means I made a lot of money, for little effort, which was nice.

My foreman injured himself last week. He put his back out and had to be helicoptered to the hospital. I finally saw him today and got to have a little chat with him, as I drove him to the car to get some smokes.

Mel, S was in the other camp, so I haven't seen him since I left Saskatchewan. I'll be seeing him as soon as we get to Kananaskis.

Oh, I'm not enjoying today. I just feel like bawling my head off. I know that it's because I'm not feeling well, but today, I just want to go home and curl up in my own bed with my dog.
